VOLUNTEER WITH BRIGHT STRIDES
Volunteers are at the heart of our program. We make strides because of your passion and hard work! Whether you've been a life-long horseperson or artist or have little to no experience, we can use your help!
Riding Lessons
Volunteers are most needed for lessons, as we require 2 side walkers and 1 leader (3 volunteers!) per horse.
Art Lessons
Help brighten someone's day! As a volunteer art teacher you will conceive of and/or lead fun art projects with our participants.
Barn Hands
Learn what it really means to bond with a horse! Our barn hands water, hay and groom horses as well as mucking stalls and paddocks and cleaning the barn generally.
Event Planning and Fundraising
We always need help planning fundraising events. Please see our Special Events section for upcoming events, and don't hesitate to contact us with great fundraising ideas!
Other Skills
If you would like to contribute in any other way, please let us know! Special skills such as photography, videography and carpentry are especially needed!
Volunteer Projects
As a 501(c)(3), we offer service projects for interested organizations and high school community service requirements
